O’Reilly Auto Parts in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and lead the team in servicing customers.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training required.
• Assistant Manager Certification required.
• RSS Certification required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification desirable.
• ASE Certification desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and execute service programs.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviewing, and candidate evaluation as part of the management team.
• Ensure phone coverage and adherence to company policies, including clocking in/out.
• Oversee timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds in a smooth, compliant manner.
• Ensure merchandise invoicing before products leave the store and coordinate with other departments.
