Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, and store operations. The role may involve shift management in the manager’s absence and prompts for bilingual candidates.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, ideally in auto parts is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is beneficial.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure proper execution of service programs.
• Ensure all telephone inquiries follow company policy.
• Process BOPIS, transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and manage refunds.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and Zipline communications and merchandising tasks are assigned.
• Ensure staff clocks in/out and adhere to schedules.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
