Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in West Fargo, ND is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations.

The role includes shift management in absence of store leadership, supervising showroom service levels, processing orders, and handling returns, with bilingual candidates encouraged.

The position emphasizes safety, daily opening/closing duties, and delivering a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure proper execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and secure the building.
• All other duties as assigned.
