Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will also assume shift management in absence of leadership.

The position encourages bilingual candidates and requires strong communication skills, experience in retail auto parts, and the ability to manage day-to-day store functions, including opening/closing duties and processing transactions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed accurately and merchandise invoiced before leaving the store.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, day end procedures, and secure money/deposits.
