Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Moorhead, MN is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and drive customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role includes shift management in the absence of the Store Manager and leading a team to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers.

The position covers opening/closing duties, transfers, returns, invoicing, and maintaining merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone inquiries are answered per company policy.
• Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure; manage returns and exchanges with accurate refunds.
• Invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to team members.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules; manage clock-ins/outs per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, money handling, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
