Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist Store Managers and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of management and encourages bilingual candidates.

You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service to retail and professional customers, manage daily tasks, and ensure accurate processing of orders, returns, and merchandise invoicing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required; ability to obtain RSS Certification is expected.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is desired.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair is advantageous.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Manage daily store operations and shift responsibilities when managers are unavailable.
• Handle in-store transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, security, and store policies; communicate with management.
• Support store opening/closing duties and assist with store merchandising and programs.
