Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and lead a team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. The role includes shift management, showroom supervision, and ensuring policy-compliant handling of orders, returns, and invoicing.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, experience in auto parts retail, and knowledge of automotive systems; bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge.
• ASE Certification mentioned as a desirable credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and all core charges collected.
• Oversee daily schedules, clock-in/out, and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and end-of-day procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
