Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role also covers shift management in their absence.

You will lead store team members, supervise showroom service levels, and ensure timely processing of transfers, online orders, and returns, while maintaining policy-compliant banking and security procedures. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy-compliant operations.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and external orders.
• Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and restocking per procedure.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, money handling, deposits, and security checks.
• Assign tasks, monitor schedules, and clock-ins/outs per policy.
