Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Sneads Ferry, NC is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of leadership and direct customer engagement.

The ideal candidate communicates well, can obtain RSS Certification, and has retail or automotive parts knowledge. Bilingual abilities are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately, and ensure proper invoicing and merchandising tasks are completed.
