Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Auburn, GA to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. In this role, you may assume shift management duties when managers are unavailable, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to both retail and professional customers, manage service programs, and ensure accurate processing of orders,

• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc…)
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders and notify customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process/stage returns and exchanges and issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures, secure money and deposits, and verify security measures.
• All other duties as assigned.
