Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assist with sales, service, and store operations. The role includes shift management in the Manager's absence and emphasizes strong customer service for both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly with shipment communication.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase order ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and assign merchandising tasks as needed.
• Monitor posted schedules, obtain approvals for deviations, and ensure proper clock-in/out procedures.
