Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations.

The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership, ensuring timely processing of orders, handling returns, and invoicing merchandise, with a focus on excellent customer service. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Familiarity with retail operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels in the showroom and execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Answer the telephone per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders/outside purchases and manage returns and refunds accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages.
• Delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to posted work schedule; clock in/out per policy and perform opening/closing duties.
