Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may assume shift management when managers are absent; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members in delivering excellent customer service, manage daily store tasks, handle inquiries, transfers, returns and opening/closing duties, and contribute to a positive, service‑oriented store

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service and execute programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Answer telephone per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Manage returns and refunds; ensure merchandise is processed correctly before checkout.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule; clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure deposits and premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
