Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking a Bilingual Resident Service Coordinator to connect residents of an affordable housing community with essential services and community resources. The role focuses on empowering residents, promoting independence, and improving health outcomes within the housing context.

You will advocate for residents, coordinate with property management and external providers, and promote resident engagement through events and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in resident/social service programs (preferably in affordable housing).
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
• Strong knowledge of local community resources and federal/state programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to residents by identifying and connecting them to appropriate services.
• Educate residents and families on community services, eligibility criteria, and application processes; emphasize wellness, lease compliance, and tenant rights.
• Organize and promote activities that encourage resident engagement and community networks.
• Act as a liaison between residents, property management, and external providers to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain confidential resident files, service logs, and incident reports; prepare quarterly summaries and outcomes.
• Advocate for residents by facilitating access to resources and negotiating with providers.
• Collaborate with management to plan monthly events calendars and develop volunteer programs.
