Job summary

Related Affordable Housing is seeking a compassionate Bilingual Resident Service Coordinator to connect residents with essential services and foster a sense of community at one of our large affordable housing communities. This role supports residents in maintaining independence and improving health outcomes within the housing program.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in a related field, 2+ years of experience in social or resident services, and fluency in Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Public Health, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute.
• At least 2 years of experience in resident/social service programs (preferably in affordable housing).
• Strong knowledge of local community resources and federal/state programs.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and navigate sensitive issues.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to residents by identifying and connecting them to appropriate services.
• Educate residents and families on community services, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
• Organize activities that encourage resident engagement and build a supportive network.
• Act as liaison between residents, property management, and external service providers.
