Job summary

Trinity Management, LLC seeks a compassionate Resident Service Coordinator to support residents across affordable housing communities in Connecticut and New York. The role promotes independence and connects residents with essential resources while advocating for their needs.

The ideal candidate will travel regularly between Connecticut and New York, preferably residing in Southern Connecticut or Westchester County, NY. Strong partnerships and program development are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred
• Experience in resident services, case management, social work, affordable housing, or human services required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
• Experience with community agencies and social service organizations
• Strong resident advocacy and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents and promote independence
• Connect residents with community resources including financial assistance, healthcare, counseling, transportation, food assistance, and other services
• Advocate for residents by educating them on programs and benefits
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local agencies and nonprofits
• Coordinate referrals and follow up to ensure services are received
• Plan and facilitate resident programs, workshops, and social activities
• Collaborate with Property Management to address concerns and resolve conflicts
• Assist residents with Section 504 accommodation requests and guide them through the process
• Maintain resident files and program records
• Prepare reports for management and funding agencies (HUD)
• Manage the RC budget and identify grant opportunities
• Promote resident engagement through networks and partnerships
