The ideal candidate will travel regularly between Connecticut and New York, preferably residing in Southern Connecticut or Westchester County, NY. Strong partnerships and program development are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field preferred
  • Experience in resident services, case management, social work, affordable housing, or human services required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
  • Experience with community agencies and social service organizations
  • Strong resident advocacy and coordination skills

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with residents and promote independence
  • Connect residents with community resources including financial assistance, healthcare, counseling, transportation, food assistance, and other services
  • Advocate for residents by educating them on programs and benefits
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local agencies and nonprofits
  • Coordinate referrals and follow up to ensure services are received
  • Plan and facilitate resident programs, workshops, and social activities
  • Collaborate with Property Management to address concerns and resolve conflicts
  • Assist residents with Section 504 accommodation requests and guide them through the process
  • Maintain resident files and program records
  • Prepare reports for management and funding agencies (HUD)
  • Manage the RC budget and identify grant opportunities
  • Promote resident engagement through networks and partnerships

Trinity Management, LLC is seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-focused Resident Service Coordinator to support residents across our affordable housing communities in Connecticut and New York. This role is responsible for connecting residents with essential community resources, advocating for resident needs, and developing programs that promote independence, stability, and quality of life.

The ideal candidate is passionate about serving diverse communities, has experience working with social service agencies, and enjoys building strong partnerships that positively impact residents.

About the Role

This position supports multiple affordable housing communities throughout Connecticut and New York. Regular travel between both states is required. Candidates should preferably reside in Southern Connecticut or Westchester County, NY to best support the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with residents while promoting independence and self-sufficiency
  • Assess resident needs and connect individuals with community resources including financial assistance, healthcare, counseling, transportation, food assistance, and other supportive services
  • Serve as a resident advocate by educating residents on available programs, services, and benefits
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local agencies, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, and community service organizations
  • Coordinate referrals and provide follow-up to ensure residents receive appropriate services
  • Plan and facilitate resident programs, workshops, educational events, and social activities
  • Collaborate with Property Management to address resident concerns and resolve conflicts
  • Assist residents with Section 504 Reasonable Accommodation requests and guide them through the process
  • Maintain accurate resident files, service documentation, and program records
  • Prepare reports for management, ownership, and funding agencies, including annual HUD reporting requirements
  • Manage the Resident Service Coordinator budget and identify grant and funding opportunities
  • Promote resident engagement by developing support networks, community partnerships, and resident programs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in resident services, case management, social work, affordable housing, or human services required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
  • Experience working with community agencies and social service organizations
  • Strong resident advocacy and case coordination skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Yardi or affordable housing software is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to travel regularly between Connecticut and New York
  • Candidates residing in Southern Connecticut or Westchester County, NY are strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits
  • $70,000 - $75,000k annually
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO)
