Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor to join our overnight shift team in Chicago. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA/food safety, with HACCP and GMP expertise, and must be bilingual to communicate with diverse staff.

The role focuses on maintaining sanitation, quality control, and continuous improvement across our food manufacturing processes, reporting to management with regular updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, and sanitation in the food manufacturing industry.
• Bilingual is a MUST.
• Expert knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey complex technical information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Certification in Food Safety or QA is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining detail and deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous learning in food safety and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QA and Food Safety program for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to ensure GMP adherence.
• Lead HACCP plans to identify and control hazards.
• Manage sanitation team to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Train staff on food safety, quality control, and sanitation procedures.
• Investigate quality or food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate safety and quality into processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Provide regular management reports on QA and Food Safety status.
