Bento Sushi is hiring a Bilingual Overnight Food Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor in Chicago, IL. The role leads a maintenance team in a fast-paced food-processing facility, overseeing preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in food processing or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in using CMMS.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Spanish language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and verify work is done correctly and safely.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Read schematics and blueprints to support repairs and installations.
• Manage work orders, inventory, and service logs.
• Collaborate with production to address equipment issues and improvements.
• Ensure GMP and food safety compliance across maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting.
