Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor to join our Chicago-based manufacturing team during overnight hours. You will lead the QA and food safety program, ensure GMP compliance, and drive sanitation and HACCP initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in QA/FS in food manufacturing, a related degree, bilingual ability, and strong communication skills to train staff and report to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in QA, food safety, and sanitation.
• Bilingual required.
• Expert knowledge of HACCP and GMP.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Assurance and Food Safety program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify risks and ensure GMP.
• Oversee HACCP plans to identify, control, and prevent food safety hazards.
• Lead sanitation team to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the facility.
• Train staff on food safety measures, quality control, and sanitation procedures.
• Investigate quality or food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety standards into processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes related to food safety and QA.
• Provide regular reports to management on QA and food safety status.
