Qualifications

• Minimum two years in progressive manufacturing
• Two years in a lead role overseeing production staff
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a manufacturing area
• Help staff in meeting production targets and staffing needs
• Operate multiple machines within designated area
• Ensure accuracy of production data in ERP
• Maintain inventory locations and labelling in ERP
• Uphold safety and company values
• Provide coaching to direct/indirect reports
• Train staff on quality, safety and performance metrics
• Monitor line quality metrics and drive improvements
• Provide timely feedback to teams and project members
• Foster collaboration across shifts and teams
• Notify supervisor of material, personnel or equipment issues
• Keep up-to-date with manufacturing technologies and sustainability
• Lead by example to build a positive culture
