Job summary

Cartamundi Dallas is seeking a Production Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive operational excellence on-site in Dallas. You will shape manufacturing policies, ensure on-time production to specifications, and maintain safety and cost objectives.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, talent development, and regular communication with senior leadership to align with business goals.

Qualifications

5–7 years as Production Manager or 10 years as Production Supervisor
5–7 years in a manufacturing environment
3–5 years KPI management
2–5 years Lean Manufacturing
2–5 years with ERP systems (SAP – Mann or BPCS)
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

Formulate, recommend and implement manufacturing policies and programs to improve profitability.
Direct and coordinate activities so products are manufactured to specifications, on schedule, within quality standards and cost objectives.
Ensure safety and health standards are met to keep an accident-free environment.
Communicate with upper management regarding production issues.
Ensure material and supplies are available for each production department.
Participate in production meetings and review performance reports with supervisors.
Drive continuous improvement and reduce spoiled-work and waste.
Identify, train, hire, and sustain talent.
