Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a bilingual Product Sales Specialist trainer to develop staff and ensure customers receive excellent service and product information. The role emphasizes coaching, certification completion, and maintaining showroom merchandising in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

You will engage with customers, support sales processes at checkout, and contribute to a welcoming, knowledgeable store atmosphere across hours of operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate safety with lifting practices and SOPs.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses and merchandise training.
• Explain merchandise and installation details to customers and guide selections.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing, and organization.
• Communicate SOP direction and changes to associates promptly.
• Operate forklift certification and handle inventory needs with management.
• Assist showroom processing of merchandise; price and place products accordingly.
• Greet customers, answer product questions, process sales at POS, and handle refunds/exchanges.
• Present how-to classes to customers and follow payment procedures.
• Answer phones per guidelines and stock displays with tags/signs.
