Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative for its specialty mail-order pharmacy in a role that blends bilingual patient support with insurance coordination. You will verify benefits, enter prescriptions, collect copays, and secure prior authorizations while communicating with patients, insurers, and providers.

Training is onsite for four weeks before working from home, with a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English-Spanish required or working knowledge of both languages.
• 6+ months experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone.
• 6+ months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
• 6+ months computer keyboarding experience, skills and aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and reverifying benefits.
• Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system, and collecting copays.
• Obtain authorizations and collaborate with insurers and providers to resolve issues preventing fulfillment.
• Provide clear status updates and delivery timelines to patients, and escalate complex cases as needed.
• Assist with English-to-Spanish translation for basic inquiries and support training.
