Job summary

Cash Construction Company is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process weekly payroll using multiple time capture systems on-site in Texas. The role supports Finance and Accounting, handles garnishments, quarterly payroll taxes, and ensures SOX compliance while providing backup for payroll and front desk duties.

The position requires strong data entry, problem-solving, and collaboration with Human Resources to ensure timely cross-referencing of information and accuracy of deductions and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual required.
• At least 2 years of accounting, payroll or related business experience.
• Experience with Viewpoint, Oracle, ADP, Power BI, Excel, B2W, and Microsoft Teams preferred.
• Experience with payroll system software.
• Prevailing wage experience a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, SOX controls and payroll compliance.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Fast and accurate data entry of timecards and proofing payroll data.
• Learn new payroll systems and processes in a construction environment.
• Communicate with field personnel about missing hours and obtain documentation.
• Update and maintain master file information for payroll.
• Organize and secure timecards and files weekly.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and supervisors about paychecks.
