Preferred candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish with 3+ years of HR experience, and familiarity with Paylocity or similar HRIS; knowledge of California wage laws and prevailing wage reporting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of human resources experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience with California employment laws (Onboarding, payroll).
• Certified payroll/prevailing wage experience.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/payroll platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Payroll & Timekeeping: review timecards, resolve discrepancies, collect documents, and distribute payroll reports; serve as Paylocity resource and train managers/employees on best practices; maintain reimbursement and deduction records.
• Prevailing Wage & Certified Payroll: prepare labor-tracking reports, maintain documentation, and submit LAUSD certified payroll reports on time.
• Partner with managers and employees; ensure compliance and confidentiality; support onboarding and payroll processes; collaborate cross-functionally.
