The role supports updating patient data, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating with clinical staff in a community-focused nonprofit health center. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in customer service, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of work experience in customer service.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and in spoken Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients in a timely and friendly manner.
• Verify and update patient demographic and payer information.
• Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and lab work.
• Collect and post fees and reconcile daily charges.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
