CLS Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients, delivering excellent service and coordinating financial responsibilities during visits in Houston, TX.

You will verify patient information, collect co-pays, and ensure referrals are in the chart while maintaining accurate records. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail in a busy clinical setting.

Qualificações

• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy are important.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient\'s chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
