CLS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact, you will greet patients, verify information, collect co-pays, and help ensure a smooth visit.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish, with strong communication and multitasking skills, and a high school diploma. Healthcare setting experience is preferred, and you will work with ambulatory care teams to support accurate billing and excellent patient experiences.

Qualificações

• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
