Job summary

CLS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a Patient Service Representative - Floater to be the first point of contact for patients, providing courteous service, handling registrations, insurance verification, and billing coordination.

This role requires travel to other CLS Health locations and strong communication, multitasking, and attention to detail. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
• Travel to other CLS Health locations.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information.
• Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service.
• Ensure the referrals are in the patient\'s chart before the patient comes in.
• Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
• Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms; sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation after close.
• Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Travel to other CLS Health locations.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
