The position involves daily interaction with patients, staff and providers, maintaining confidentiality, and providing a calm, organized reception environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certification in Medical Admin Assistant preferred.
• 1–3 years related work experience required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with medical terminology.
• Experience with web-based applications and MS Office suite.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors with courtesy and privacy.
• Serve as central communication source for patient care.
• Take complete and accurate information from patients/callers.
• Register patients in computer systems and verify demographics.
• Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments to accommodate needs.
• Process referrals and collect co-pays as applicable.
• Maintain clean reception area and translate as needed.
