Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors
• Communicate wait times to patients and direct them accordingly
• Obtain authorization to process patients for services as needed
• Check in patients using the patient management system
• Explain forms and ensure proper completion of paperwork
• Answer incoming calls and route accordingly
• Schedule and confirm appointments, reschedule or cancel as needed
• Process patient checkout and distribute records
• Maintain inventory of office supplies
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy of patient information
• Participate in training and support occasional medical assistant duties as needed
