Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity in Bradenton, FL. You will perform patient registration, verify insurance, collect coinsurance and copays, and schedule diagnostic and follow-up appointments.

You will greet patients, manage wait times, and handle check-in/check-out tasks while maintaining accurate cashier duties. The role requires 2+ years in patient or customer service, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service or patient service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Data entry experience (Excel).
• Experience talking to clients and patients on the phone and via email.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Prior outpatient or clinic-based experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration, insurance verification, and collection of coinsurance/copays.
• Schedule diagnostic and follow-up appointments; answer calls.
• Greet patients, manage wait times, and complete check-in/check-out tasks.
• Manage cashier box and daily deposits; process walk-in patients.
• Provide excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.
