Qualifications

• High school graduate with three years experience in accounting and medical claims management.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and other programs serving the uninsured.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate on billing issues and assist financing of care.
• Process financial assistance applications and request missing documents.
• Resolve billing concerns via phone, letter, or in person.
• Interpret clinical data to determine program eligibility.
• Audit and reconcile patient accounts with attention to accuracy.
