Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration by interviewing patient or responsible party to obtain demographic information.
• Verify insurance/other payer benefits and perform up-front collections.
• Determine eligibility and arrange admission to hospital per policies and procedures.
• Obtain signatures of individuals responsible for payment and explain hospital financial obligation.
• Answer telephone and direct calls accordingly.
• Assist in ordering office supplies as needed/requested.
• Assist in preparing letters and sending correspondence.
