Acclivity Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Specialist – Call Center for a major hospital group in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with pay of $20–$22 per hour. You will answer calls, deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume setting, and obtain accurate patient demographics while routing to the appropriate departments using EMR systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent high-volume call center experience.
• Recent healthcare experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume call center environment.
• Act as a resource/liaison for team members, internal and external customers.
• Transfer calls to other departments.
• Obtain accurate patient demographics when assisting patients.
• Perform some functions in EMR systems.
