Legacy Community Health in Houston, TX is seeking a Bilingual Patient Assistance Representative (Montrose) to support clients through Ryan White Grant programs. You’ll help patients access medications and medical coverage, coordinating with ADAP, LPAP, EFA, and related services.

Responsibilities include gathering enrollment documentation, maintaining enrollee lists, and ensuring timely grant data. A bilingual Spanish speaker with healthcare familiarity excels in a collaborative, mission-driven

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year healthcare experience or 3 years customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Knowledge of healthcare terms and HIV medications is desirable.
• Insurance and COBRA knowledge.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
• Bilingual Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with eligible clients to gather documentation for program enrollment.
• Understand and support Ryan White Grant programs and health insurance assistance.
• Maintain an accurate list of program enrollees and ensure timely communication with clients.
• Process applications or payments accurately and in a timely manner; document patient care activities in Epic Pioneer and ARIES.
• Ensure grant standards are met through timely validation of required data points.
• Perform reviews and audits to support accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with peers to provide optimal patient care and engage in special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
