Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with some medical knowledge.
• 3–5 years of medical billing experience preferred.
• Some training or background in ICD-CPT codes preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency required; strong computer and clerical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility for clients following program guidelines.
• Ensure clients do not have another payer source (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare).
• Register clients into CPCDMS and complete paperwork.
• Data entry for eligible clients into the system and maintain eligibility files.
• Conduct renewal eligibility and confirm appointments; provide required documentation to clients.
