You will schedule appointments, relay information, and ensure a professional, timely experience connecting patients with needed services.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to navigate the healthcare system. You will work in a structured call-center environment with shift hours and a focus on accuracy

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Clinical office support experience is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage inbound/outbound calls in a call-center environment.
• Adhere to scheduled work hours and provide a pleasant caller experience.
• Function in a structured environment with punctuality and attendance requirements.
• Schedule patient appointments following protocols, including referrals, insurance status, and eligibility.
• Follow documented processes and stay updated on developments within area of expertise.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills and use appropriate resources.
• Use proper language, grammar and phone etiquette with exemplary customer service.
• Communicate with clinical/departments to ensure all requirements for appointments are met.
• Identify high-risk or urgent symptoms and relay information to clinical staff.
• Complete data entry including patient demographics and payer information.
• Perform multiple activities simultaneously (phone + computer).
• Understand basic healthcare terms and HIPAA policies.
• Respond to emails and non-phone inquiries.
