Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support the Contact Center and booking operations at our Dallas site.

You will answer calls and online requests, schedule appointments, verify demographics and insurance, and provide service referrals as needed to ensure patient access and care continuity. Qualifications

• H/S Diploma or equivalent + 6 months of experience in call center, medical front office or customer service.
• Experience scheduling patients using an automated patient management system in a healthcare environment desired.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office and ability to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Answers high volume calls and schedules appointments in the appointment database.
• Processes online appointment requests and schedules appointments in the database.
• Triages calls to appropriate team members as needed.
• Provides information about Planned Parenthood services and referrals as needed.
• Gathers and updates patient demographics, eligibility and appointment details.
• Completes full registration for new patients and insurance verifications if applicable.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows privacy requirements.
• Creates accurate financial quotes and estimates via the EHR system.
• Places reminder calls for scheduled appointments.
• Responds to non-patient calls and directs to appropriate departments as needed.
