Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. is seeking a Reproductive Health Assistant to support direct patient care and education in a busy health center.

You will greet patients, collect medical history, update charts, assist with check-in/out, and help ensure supplies and equipment are stocked while maintaining safety and confidentiality. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, counseling on birth control and testing, and collaboration with clinicians.

Qualifications

• H/S Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in customer service, healthcare or social services; advanced degree may substitute for up to 1 year of experience.
• When education is substituted for experience, a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant or CNA or Phlebotomy or EMT certificate; national certification or diploma may substitute for up to 6 months of experience; EPM/EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and provide high quality care.
• Perform patient check-in/out and update patient charts.
• Educate patients about medical services, including birth control and testing.
• Provide and explain consent forms and ensure language access.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with lab testing and vital signs.
