Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Inc. seeks a Reproductive Health Assistant to join the healthcare team. You will greet patients, perform front office duties, and assist clinicians with education and clinical tasks in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include patient check-in/check-out, taking medical history, counseling on birth control and pregnancy options, and helping maintain a safe, compliant health center. Bilingual abilities may be beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in customer service, healthcare or social services.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant, CNA, Phlebotomy or EMT certification or related training.
• Experience with electronic practice management or EHR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and in a welcoming manner and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Provide high-quality patient care and gather medical history.
• Educate patients about birth control, STIs, gender-affirming care, and pregnancy options.
• Obtain informed consent and explain patient education materials and forms.
• Maintain medical supplies inventory and assist with clinical tasks.
• Support front office duties and ensure confidentiality and safety.
