Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Office Assistant program preferred.
• Experience in customer service or medical office setting expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Check in patients with or without appointments and register new and established patients.
• Verify patient demographics in the Practice Management system at each visit.
• Collect and update insurance information and method of payment; process payments and receipts.
• Balance daily cash, secure deposits, and ensure proper cash handling.
