Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year of customer service, preferably in healthcare.
• Understanding of insurance benefits and patient financial responsibilities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue notices as needed.
• Estimate patient financial responsibility and collect payments or arrange plans.
• Coordinate with utilization management for pre-authorization issues and provide logistics info to patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations within set timeframes.
• Register patients for services and maintain accurate medical records.
