Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Admits, registers, and pre-registers patients in a courteous and timely manner.
• Conducts patient interviews and explains hospital policies.
• Collects patients' financial responsibilities and informs patients about bill of rights.
• Documents demographic and financial data accurately in the system.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits with electronic systems or payers.
• Obtains pre-certification/authorization as required by payers.
• Assists patients with financial screening for EPCH programs.
