Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking an Access Center Coordinator to support patient experience across the Norton Health system. The role focuses on scheduling medical provider appointments, acting as a liaison between patients and physician offices, and managing high-volume inbound and outbound requests to ensure smooth access to care.

Bi-lingual Spanish and English preferred; one year of customer service experience required.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience with external and/or internal customers.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish & English preferred.
• Experience in a medical office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling medical provider appointments for patients within medical primary care and specialty offices
• Scheduling appropriately based upon clinical protocols, availability, and payor source
• Acting as a liaison between patients and physician offices
• Ability to function in an environment which requires teamwork and flexibility to provide quality patient care
• Managing appointment requests from both phone calls (inbound and outbound) and electronic requests
• Supporting physician offices through management of designated work-queues
• Ability to perform in a high-volume setting, directly interacting with and addressing customer needs
