Job summary

Swissport is hiring a Passenger Service Agent in the Seattle area to deliver essential customer services such as reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, and gate check-in. The role includes assisting passengers with special needs, VIPs, unaccompanied minors, and those requiring wheelchair assistance, while ensuring compliance with security requirements.

The position is part-time with the potential to move to full-time in the future, offering opportunities to grow in a fast-paced aviation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Enhanced ID to receive an airport badge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation.
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations.
• Manage passenger baggage processing including handling and fee calculation if applicable.
• Assist passengers through arrival and check-in processes including support for passengers with special needs.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine as required.
• Make public address announcements as required.
• Assist Ramp Service Agents to ensure wheelchairs, strollers and gate checked bags are available for loading and arrival.
