Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of customer service to retail, installer, and professional customers. The role includes greeting customers, assisting with merchandise choices, processing payments, handling exchanges/returns, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Desirable: Familiar with automotive parts, Weatherly Index System, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Support store management and professional customers as directed.
• Answer store phone calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and promote related items.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit per policy.
• Maintain cash drawer and process payments.
• Assist with stock, planograms, inventory, and housekeeping.
• Perform in‑store services and light vehicle technician tasks as trained.
• Assist with deliveries when needed.
