Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high level service to retail and installer customers and support store management in daily tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key duties include greeting customers, cross-selling, handling cash/credit transactions, processing returns, and assisting with stock and planogram updates. Some duties require operating test equipment and occasional delivery duties.

Qualifications

• Must provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Able to multitask, serving customers in-store and on the phone.
• Familiar with automotive parts and related sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting merchandise and promote service programs.
• Greet customers promptly in a friendly manner and assist with merchandise choices.
• Process cash, checks and credit card transactions securely and accurately.
• Handle exchanges and returns per company policies and procedures.
• Maintain stock, perform planogram updates, and assist with daily operations.
• Operate store test equipment after training and company requirements are met.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate.
