Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers. The role includes greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, answering calls, and processing transactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, and automotive sales or service.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Support store management and professional customers as needed.
• Process cash, checks, credit card transactions, and returns per policy.
• Answer store phone calls, look up parts, and quote prices with related items.
• Assist with image maker, planogram updates, and stocking shelves.
• Perform in-store services such as battery tests, wiper installs, and light maintenance.
